I’m always excited whenever my dear friend Frances comes to town to play a show. I’ve been photographing Hop Along for over a decade now, from tiny shows in living rooms to the big stages. They get better every time I see them, and their audience gets bigger. These photos are from their most recent show in Pittsburgh at The Rex Theater in the Southside. My personal favorites here are the photos where Frances and her brother/drummer Mark are making the same singing face and/or head-banging with the same wild hair. I love it!
